Gigiers-Oino

We welcome you to

Gigiers-Oino Community

Gigiers-Oino community is a secluded mountain village tucked into the Oino mountain range, on planet Olar. It is a beautiful paradise type planet that enjoys balmy weather, with soft yellow tinted skies that give it its magical ambience.

The inhabitants of Gigiers-Oino have organized their lives around three interlocking practices: farming the terraced mountain slopes, fishing the sparkling lakes below the village, and a sustained communal commitment to meditation. These are not separate pursuits but parts of a single way of living.

About

Brief History

Gigiers-Oino community was established in 2209, thirty-five years after the construction of its first building, the meditation center, which rests at the Oino mountain summit. It was built by the architect and mystic Gek, who conceived it for the sole purpose of settling in to dedicate the rest of his life to meditation.

Throughout the years locals from the surrounding areas would come and learn from the mystic and meditate. As the reunions became more frequent, travelers began to arrive and stay in the surrounding areas, building small improvised homes, which decades later started to morph and grow into a little village which is now known as the Gigiers-Oino community.

Meditation

Connect with your true self

The only reason Gigiers-Oino exists is because of meditation. The long journey and great effort of MysticGek Ushisti to know his true self, unknowingly built a community around him, so strongly bonded by awareness, that today the spirit of the village still remains untouched and carries on with Ushisti’s legacy.

Visit the meditation center built by the MysticGek Ushisti, where you will be able to experience first hand the art of meditation, with the guidance of his scholars and the scriptures left by himself.

Fishing

Fresh from the lakes

Fishing here is not casual recreation; it is a structured, near-ceremonial practice passed down through generations, governed by unwritten rules about which zones are harvested on which days, how nets are folded, and what prayers or acknowledgments are spoken before the first cast. Visitors arriving at the lakeside before dawn will witness fishermen moving in near silence, their small craft cutting across water that reflects the last stars. The stakes of this tradition are practical as well as cultural: the daily catch feeds the community and drives the local economy, meaning a poor morning on the water is felt by every household before noon.

Farming

Share with animals

Meet the individual farmers and collective stewards who have worked the same plots across multiple generations, capturing the daily rhythm of farm life, from pre-dawn pellet runs, to the late-cycle water checks, to understand why the villagers describe their work not as labor but as a form of ongoing relationship with the animals in their care.

Get to know first hand, the story of Gigiers-Oino’s most celebrated product, Oino Wild Milk, produced by the farm’s prized animals.
